Employee Assistance Programs
D’Accord provides a range of these programs on a national, state, and regional basis. Each is designed according to the parameters specified by the company seeking to establish or enhance such programs. Our EAP services are built on ease of access for users, compliance with privacy legislation, ongoing evaluation, identification of workplace issues, and quality of service irrespective of the geographic location of users. Our programs include the availability of 24-hour emergency assistance.
Critical Incident Stress Management Services
Also known as Trauma Management Services, we offer consultancy services in relation to workplace risk assessment, policy development, training and education of employees, the establishment of peer support (co-worker) networks, and periodic review/evaluation of the relevance and effectiveness of CISM policies and procedures.
As part of our commitment to CISM services, we offer 24/7 immediate debriefing and counselling services at workplaces throughout Australia where critical/traumatic incidents have occurred. The scope and type of trauma services can differ from company to company and industry to industry. D’Accord can provide advice on the most effective trauma debriefing response strategy taking into account industry type, location, workforce demographics, and duty of care requirements.
Manager Advisory Services
D’Accord makes its senior consultants available to managers, senior managers and executives to provide advice on any issue relating to managing individuals or groups within the workplace. This service is provided on a confidential basis and complies with privacy regulations.
Peer Support Initiatives
D’Accord designs and implements suitable peer support programs for organizations wanting to develop appropriate first line support skills within their existing workforce. We provide initial and ongoing training and continuous professional supervision for your in-house peer supporters.
Mediation
We assist organizations resolve interpersonal conflicts in the workplace by providing experienced facilitators to promote dispute resolution and trained mediators to conduct more formal mediation aimed at achieving mutually agreed settlements.
Employment Transition Services
When employees are facing redundancy, retrenchment or redeployment D’Accord provides clinical services to reduce anxiety and depression, and consulting services to enhance the resettlement process. These services include CV evaluation/preparation, job interview skills, job search networking, skills assessments, and personal presentation.
Self Development Workshops
These workshops aim to provide greater skills to employees enabling them to effectively manage themselves when under pressure. Areas include Anger Management, Coping with Stress, Effective Interactions with Difficult People and Achieving Work-Life Balance. Duration of workshops vary and can include short lunch break presentations.
Rehabilitation Services
D’Accord assists organizations design effective return-to-work strategies for employees psychologically and emotionally impaired by work related factors. We also provide the necessary clinical services to affected employees.
Psychological Assessments
We provide a range of psychological assessments on request from employers. These include independent stress assessments, fitness for work assessments and vocational assessments.
